·      Insure all equipment’s are calibrated in accordance with appropriate methods and standards.

·      Inspection of construction activities on site as per Aramco engineering standards and specification.

·      Raising RFI, s for Aramco inspectors for all construction activities and tests.

·      Issuing NCR, s to construction team for improper work.

·      Conducting concrete and soil test as per ASTM standard.

·      Establish laboratory policies in consultation with the specialized management develop and maintain appropriate control and quality assurance procedures, ensure compliance with safety requirements. 

·      Interpret results of laboratory activities to laboratory personnel, management, professional and technical societies.

- II Project, a project of Dubai Port World under Supervision of Royal Haskoning (UK) as Prime Consultant and Marine works Designer, CCCC-FHDI Engineering Company Limited (CHINA) as Quay Wall Designer, China Harbor Engineering Company (CHEC) as main Contractor for Marine works and Gantrex S. A. (Germany) for Rail Installation works. The Site of this development is located immediately to the west of QICT Terminal - I, at Port Qasim, near Karachi, Pakistan. The construction of Project comprises 727 m Quay wall (berth) catering for maximum 85,000 DWT Ships, Reclamation of approximately 16 hectares for a container yard.

   Responsibilities performed at Site are as under:

 

·          Certify quality and quantity of all construction works and verification of contractor IPC’s.

·          In charge of offshore driving of tubular piles (228 nos) (Ǿ 2016mm), steel sheet piles (228 nos) (width 1.34m) with D128 Diesel Hammer.

·          In charge of construction of temporary trestle for rotary drilling inside Steel Tubular Piles.

·          In charge of driving of precast Anchor Piles (665nos) (length 9.0 m) on land with D80 Diesel Hammer.

·          Installation of tie rod (Ǿ 115 mm) (length 24m) and its tensioning up to 1500 psi.

·          Inspection of quay wall, anchor system, capping beam, rear crane beam and RTG beam.

·          In charge of land reclamation, ground improvement and laying of geo textile for land.

·          In charge of pavement works i.e. rigid pavement, flexible pavement and pavers block.

·          Inspection of materials and there testing as per specification and standards.

·          In charge of building construction, mass concrete works at site and precast yard.

·          Regular site inspection, supervisions and preparing daily, weekly and monthly progress report.
